Interview scheduling for small recruiting teams

Scheduling platforms assume coordinators. Cadence automates interviews end to end for teams of one to five recruiters — GDPR included, free in early access.

The gap in the market

Interview-scheduling software has consolidated around two poles. At one end sit general-purpose booking links — fine for a first screen, blind to everything after it. At the other sit enterprise coordination platforms — excellent if you employ recruiting coordinators, priced and designed on the assumption that you do. The recruiting team of one to five people, hiring a handful of roles at a time, is served by neither: too much process for a bare booking link, no coordinator to feed a coordination console.

Cadence is built for exactly that team. Not a cut-down enterprise product — a different shape of product, designed around one constraint: nobody at your company owns scheduling, so the tool has to.

What a small team actually needs

What we deliberately left out

Honesty about scope: Cadence does not do high-volume or campus hiring, interviewer-training programs, coordination queues, or load balancing across interviewer pools. Those are real needs — at a scale where you will have coordinators, and where an enterprise platform (see our honest comparisons with GoodTime and ModernLoop) is the right buy. A tool for small teams earns its simplicity by not pretending to be everything.
