Lever integration for interview scheduling
Keep Lever as your system of record while Cadence schedules interviews: candidate sync in, outcome write-back out, encrypted credential connection.
Lever stays the system of record
The Lever integration follows the same principle as every Cadence ATS connection: Lever remains the source of truth for your pipeline, and Cadence runs the scheduling and candidate communication around it. Opportunities sync from Lever into Cadence, interviews are booked through self-scheduling links with no-show defense, and scheduling outcomes write back to the linked Lever candidate.
Sync in, write back
A recurring sync brings active Lever candidates into Cadence, matched by identity to avoid duplicates, with each record linked to its Lever opportunity and stage. Outcomes flow the other way through a retrying outbox: bookings, completions, and drop-offs update the Lever record in order, exactly once, even across a temporary Lever outage. Sync runs are visible per provider with counts, timestamps, and categorised errors, so the state of the connection is never a mystery.
Runs alongside Greenhouse
Connections are per-provider, so a workspace can run Lever and Greenhouse side by side, which makes ATS migrations undramatic: each candidate stays linked to the provider they came from, and both write-backs run independently. Teams with no ATS at all use CSV import instead; see all integrations.
Connection and security
A workspace admin connects Lever with an API credential scoped to what the sync needs. The credential is encrypted at rest, never displayed after entry, rotatable, and removable in one action. GDPR erasure covers the ATS-linked fields Cadence holds, and integration activity is audited by internal identifiers only, in line with privacy-safe recruiting.
Where this fits
Lever tracks the pipeline; Cadence makes the interviews happen: live-calendar self-scheduling, the no-show confirmation cascade, candidate status pages, and interviewer scorecards. See the full feature overview for the complete picture.
