Terms & Conditions
Placeholder notice. This document is template text provided so the page can be reviewed before legal counsel supplies the final copy. It is not yet binding and does not constitute legal advice. The operator's legal team will replace every section below with reviewed wording before publication.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a placeholder agreement between the organisation that operates this Cadence workspace ("the operator", "we", "us") and any person who accesses or uses the service ("you", "the user"). By using the service you agree to be bound by the final published version of these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version and its last-updated date are shown on this page.
2. Who may use the service
The service is intended for use by the operator's authorised staff (for example recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers) and by candidates who are invited to interact with a specific recruitment process through a private link. Placeholder eligibility terms:
- You must be of an age at which you can form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
- Workspace members must be invited and granted a role by an administrator of the workspace.
- Candidate access is limited to the private links sent to you for your own process.
3. Acceptable use
This is placeholder acceptable-use language to be finalised by counsel. You agree to use the service only for its intended recruitment-coordination purpose and in compliance with applicable law. In particular, you agree not to:
- access, or attempt to access, data or links that were not provided to you;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the service, or bypass any access control;
- upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
- use automated means to access the service except as expressly permitted; or
- misuse personal data accessed through the service in breach of applicable law.
4. The operator-to-user relationship
Placeholder relationship terms. The operator provides the service to coordinate interviews and related recruitment communications. For workspace members, the operator (or the member's employing organisation) determines roles and permissions and may suspend or remove access. For candidates, the operator is the organisation running the recruitment process you are taking part in, and is the controller of the personal data described in the Privacy Notice. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship except as separately agreed in writing.
5. Accounts and access
Placeholder account terms. Where you are given account credentials or a private access link, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity carried out through them. You should notify the operator if you believe a credential or link has been compromised. Access may be time-limited and links may expire.
6. Intellectual property
Placeholder intellectual-property terms. The service, its software, and its branding remain the property of the operator and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose only, and do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
7. Disclaimers
Placeholder disclaimer to be confirmed by counsel and adjusted to the applicable jurisdiction. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
Placeholder limitation to be confirmed by counsel. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Suspension and termination
Placeholder termination terms. The operator may suspend or terminate access to the service, in whole or in part, where it reasonably believes these Terms have been breached or where required to protect the service, its users, or their data. You may stop using the service at any time.
10. Changes to the service and to these terms
Placeholder change-management terms. We may modify, add to, or discontinue features of the service, and may revise these Terms. When we publish a revised version we will update the version identifier and last-updated date shown on this page. Continued use after a change takes effect indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
Placeholder governing-law clause. The governing law and the forum for resolving disputes will be specified by the operator's legal team in the final published version, appropriate to the operator's place of establishment and the users served.
12. Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Notice, which explains what personal data we collect, why, the lawful basis for processing it, and the rights you have. Please read the Privacy Notice alongside these Terms.
13. Contact
Placeholder contact section. Questions about these Terms should be directed to the operator through the contact route published by the operating organisation. The final published version will name the responsible contact.
